Oops. It's not Monday anymore

I missed #MicroblogMondays because I was at a conference. With no wifi. No, seriously, they purposefully didn't want us to have wifi so we paid attention. It worked for me because we're out of data for the month on our cell plan so I really didn't access anything for about 24 hours.

So here's my brief, what-I've-been-up to.

• welcomed the third trimester (seriously, where has time gone)
• gotten closer to deciding on a name for boy #2, who I affectionately refer to as Two
• attended my first professional development for principals where I stayed in a crappy hotel, much to my dismay because I REALLY love hotels.
• mourned the loss of my nephew due to anencephaly.  We will be remembering him at a tree planting ceremony in a couple of weeks. Please keep our family in your thoughts. This is their second loss since they've been trying to conceive. 
• run 2 miles straight, 2 days in a row! (2 weeks away from my 30 week goal)
• tried (somewhat successfully) to make healthy, homemade toddler food that my toddler will eat
• dealt with a terrible toddler ear infection
• moved said toddler to big boy bed--quite a seamless transition actually!
• finished Gone Girl just in time to see the movie.  Liked the book, minus the ending. Anyone read it?

I guess that's about it. We have my niece's 2nd birthday party on Saturday, and on Friday, I'll be visiting 3 of my college friends and I can't WAIT!  Sparky and I are also hoping to finish Two's nursery this weekend, and I will start sorting tiny baby clothes at that time. My goal is to be completely done by November 1 so we can enjoy the holidays.  And Sparky must also finish the upstairs bathroom remodel...yeah, our upstairs is a disaster right now.
