Baby BOY!

Because today I am pregnant.  Today I love my Baby Boy and he deserves his own page. Thanks to some of my other blog friends for this great idea. 

• BFP on Monday, June 4.  I was shocked. I only took a test because I thought it was going to be negative and I wanted to get the disappointment out of the way.
• Beta 1, 10dpo: 15. Dr W prescribed 100mg Endometrin suppositories, 3x a day; Estrodiol, 3x a day. At this point, I was convinced I was going to have a chemical pregnancy.
• Beta 2, 13 dpo: 102. We were on our way to our anniversary weekend! Great doubling time, great start to our 5 year anniversary.
• Beta 3, 16 dpo: 402.
• Beta 4, 19 dpo: 1174. My favorite nurse said these are perfect numbers.  (my forays at betabaseinfo online seem to confirm everything is right were it needs to be)
• Beta 5, 5000+. Dr. W's machine won't give specific numbers after this point.
• June 20, 5w4d. We saw Baby B's heartbeat, 106bpm, measuring 5w6d. Prescribed more progesterone. I'm not putting an ultrasound pic up yet. I want to get past the next milestone, more proof that this is real.
• June 27, 6w4d. Baby B measuring 6w6d, 134bpm.  Saw and heard the heartbeat this time :) Dr. W. thinks everything looks great
• July 9, 8w2d. BabyB measuring 8w4d, 167bpm. Saw and heard heartbeat. Baby was wiggling around the whole time!
• July 19, 10w6d. I'm just going by the doctor measurements now...I think I was supposed to be 10w4d? Heartbeat again, 155-166bpm. Great view of the whole foot on the screen.
• July 27, 11w. Crazy active baby! Doing flips and everything. 178bpm because the baby was so active. This was my last appt with Dr. W and my Favorite Nurses. I'm so sad to leave them.  I finally get to go off of my meds this week, though, which is great. No more suppositories and panty liners!! Wahoo!
• July 30, saw baby, measuring a full week ahead! I think that may be because of the difference in machines from Dr. W's office to Dr. N's office.  Crazy, dancing baby.  Decided not to do NT scan after dr. looked at ultrasound and said things look perfect.  She did not recommend the testing
• Aug. 6: freak out appointment, heard heartbeat on doppler for the first time.
• Aug. 28: great heartbeat. Belly looks good...no weight gain (thank goodness)
• Sept. 12: It's a boy!! Baby measuring 17w5d, right on track!

• Appointments are pretty boring as of late, though today marks the end of my monthly appts! Hello, twice a month visits to Dr. N. 
• February 22, 2013. That little black blob was born :) Our beautiful baby boy
