I plan on giving the baby (ok, he's 18 months old but still my baby) chicken nuggets and broccoli for dinner. I have no energy to be creative tonight. I feel guilty, yet relieved that I'm not cooking 2 dinners. If only I could stop putting so much stress on myself to do it all. If only babies could eat salad...
(Thanks Mel @ Stirrup Queens for #microblogmondays. Love it)

If you knew how often this could be my update you would not feel so badly :-)
I'd love it if my child ate salad or even chicken nuggets :-) I try to keep the meat the same for all family members but he has french fries and fruit for sides more often than not. I think tonight will be breakfast for dinner!
That sounds like a great meal to me. Ok, maybe not organic and whole wheat veggie hippie... *grin* But it is what we serve sometimes too. And your kids does eat broccoli!! (Mine does too.) Throw in a bit of plain yogurt for dipping sauce and some fruit and you are set to go.
My guy has only recently started eating salad at 2 years of age and even then it is hit and miss. It is more of a hit when it is drenched in dressing. LOL. But cucumber, tomato and other salad stuff is a hit! Just keep trying. You're doing great.
