Every day, I pump at work from 9:45-10:15. So, right in the middle of my scheduled pumping, the fire alarm went off. Thank GOODNESS I knew it was a drill! But I had just gotten a letdown and really couldn't do anything. I'm sure no one even knew I was missing...
And in other news, today is my bestie's due date! Her beautiful daughter is being stubborn, so we're all anxiously awaiting her arrival. Here's the poem I wrote in honor of today. I am NOT a poet, if you can't tell from this lovely little piece
To My Bestie on Her Due Date
Today is your due date;
now Addie is too late
and making her mother miserable.
You've bounced up and down,
cleaned all around
and find none of your clothes wearable.
The longer she sits,
the fatter she gets,
but I know the wait is unbearable.
You'll meet her so soon
(hey, maybe at noon!)
Sweet lips and fat cheeks
to kiss and to squeeze,
she'll be everything you've ever imagined.
Dear Addie come quickly
and please don't be sickly.
We can't wait to meet you sweet girl.

I can't believe the fire alarm went off while you were pumping... Hahahaha! That made me chuckle! And thanks again for the poem! It's definitely going in Adaline's baby book! Love you!
